The Student Support team is based in Second Ave at our Head Office, and they work with staff at each site to make sure that we have access to the student support services relevant to the delivery site that you are at. The team includes the recruitment staff you meet as you were beginning your journey with us, and we have staff with responsibilities for student support at each site.

The best way to access support if you feel comfortable doing so, is to talk with your Tutor or they may start discussions with you as they check in to make sure you doing ok. If you are unsure of how to access what you need please contact reception on 0800 002 159 and they will put you in touch with Shanon, the Student Service Coorodinator who will point you in the right direction or introduce you to who you need to speak with.

Some of the services that we offer at EmployNZ are:

• Student Counsellor (Call 0800 002 159 and book a time with our reception – Second Ave and Mount Maunganui sites or by phone for other sites)
• Counsellor referrals – We can refer to other counsellors if the EmployNZ counsellor if fully booked.
• Van Drivers ( Recruitment Staff will invite you to the Pick list if you are in the areas we do pickups/drop offs to course)
• Job Notice Board – We are in the process of moving our Job Noticeboard online onto this site, but until then there will be jobs posted on your site noticeboards and brought to your attention by your tutor
  
• Social media feeds – We will be adding links to our social media feeds to support any notices that we post
• Referral to support services and advice when you ask for it
